Difficulty Transitioning to Real-Life Dates
Users frequently struggle to move from online chats to offline meetups, leading to stalled conversations and missed opportunities for real connection.
Time-Consuming Planning
Planning a date can be challenging, especially when users know little about each other and lack ideas for where to meet or what to do.
Limited Focus on Shared Interests
Without activity-based matching, connections may feel less organic and harder to sustain. Focusing only on profile traits misses the opportunity to bring people together through shared interests and real-world experiences.
Retention Drop After Match
Once users form a connection or enter a relationship, dating apps often fail to provide continued value—resulting in uninstalls and low long-term engagement.

Shared Interests and Activities
Users are more likely to engage with matches who share similar interests or plan to attend the same events. They seek more organic ways to connect that go beyond swiping and texting.
Smoother Transition to Offline Dates
Many users desire support in moving from online chat to in-person meetups. They want help planning dates, deciding on locations, and finding the right time to meet.
Personalized Experiences
Users appreciate event suggestions tailored to their interests and dating behavior. Personalization helps reduce effort and increases the likelihood of meaningful encounters.
Convenience and Confidence in Planning
Users often rely on their match's input or search online to plan first dates. A more guided, built-in way to discover suitable places or pop-up events would ease the decision-making process.

THE SUMMARY
current status
This app is currently in the active development stage, with a launch planned for June 2025. As one of the early co-creation members, I contributed to building the product foundation—from branding and UI systems to the event feature MVP and prototypes. Although I’ve since stepped away from the team, I feel proud to have played a key role in the early design phase and look forward to seeing how the product continues to grow and connect people through real-life experiences.
Reflection
This project was both a creative and strategic challenge. I learned how to translate user insights into usable flows while balancing MVP priorities and business goals. Leading the event feature—from user flow to prototype—strengthened my skills in product thinking, interaction design, and cross-functional collaboration.
Throughout the process, I received genuine support and encouragement from my teammates, and I’m grateful that they appreciated and trusted my work. That team energy gave me the confidence to explore, take ownership, and grow. Being part of this early-stage journey deepened my belief in the power of design not just to solve problems—but to connect people through thoughtful, joyful experiences
